I remember collecting these in 5th grade, in 1973! I never stuck them on anything and kept them in perfect condition. They're still all like that! They just don't smell like gum anymore! My friends would eat all the gum: I just wanted the stickers. I remember lining them up all over the floor. I have around 715 from 3rd to 12th series. The most I have of one is 11 Cheapios! Thanks for all the info. on this great website.

I'm 40 years old going on 41 and I have two unused stickers from a reissue of Wacky Packages. I also bought the book on Wacky Packages. I remember Hired Root Beer, Neveready battery, Armour Hot Dogs, etc., etc. Now I hear that they're coming back in June with all new parodies on everyday products.

Well, I'm only 31, but that makes me one of those kids who collected the reissue series. I can clearly remember the excitement of seeing that box down at the local convenience store (sometimes blue packs...sometimes green...sometimes even the red ones). There was something downright magical about it! Sadly, I never ONCE saw a yellow 2nd series reissue pack as a kid! I still don't have one. THIS IS A GREAT WEBSITE!

I was 10 years old in 1973 and collected these like a fiend. These were a big hit at my school. I also remeber Partridge Family cards being very popular years earlier. These were the first cards I actually cared about. I couldn't bear to stick them on things. I just wanted to keep them and I did. I still have my complete Series 1-3 with a bunch of multiples and Ludlows. I may sell some duplicates on eBay. Love those Wackies.

Found my stash, which my Dad tried and tried to convince me not to spend my allowance on back in 1973!

I just found out early this morning that the father of a childhood friend of mine with whom I grew up in Northeastern Wisconsin had a stroke. I have been thinking a lot about my friend, Noah, today and reminiscing about our many youthscapades together back in the 70s. By accident, I came across your website. Your best of pages brought tears to my eyes as I remembered how Noah and I collected these same Wacky package stickers and incorporated the Wacky product names in our own daily vocabulary. It brought me back to a time when we were kids, happy to simply play outside in the snow or ride our bikes to the candy store. It all seemed so uncomplicated back then; we never could have imagined that those omnipresent parents, who forbade us from putting the stickers on our bedroom furniture, might one day no longer be with us.

The feeling I get when I look at these stickers can't be described in words! My brother, sister and I collected them as kids. We'd line them up on the floor and marvel at how cool they were. I remember how excited we'd get to buy new packs, and how we'd compare and admire our collections. I also loved the way they smelled, the feel of the waxy wrapper, and the bubble-gum. LOL! What wonderful memories...
Thanks for helping me relive those childhood days -- your site rocks!!!

Truly unforgettable! What a great Website (very informative and professional). I felt like I did when I was a child looking at my cards...all lined up on the floor, carefully inspecting each picture with giddy pleasure! I absolutely LOVED my Wacky Packages and I'm happy to see there are still Wacky Zealots out there!
