I am freaking. I had over 150 of those cards back in the early seventys. And in all likelihood had my little brother not gotten a hold of them and lost them, I still would and then some. I absolutely loved them. Talk about taking a walk through time. This site made my day and is heretofore permanently bookmarked.
Thanks.

Gregg,
I can't tell you how awesome this is! Saw this mentioned on news24houston and now can't get off your site. Oh, the memories these things bring back. I remember them being crazy and bad, but I had forgotten how twisted and demented they were, God how I love them! I'm now 41 and can remember when i was 11 or 12, these cards RULED!
Thanks again!
Vincent

What a fantastic website. Browsing the pictures brings tears of laughter to my eyes. Fondly remember running to the ol corner store (called convenience stores now) to get a new package of stickers. Covering my lunchbox, and dresser drawers with them. Wishing now I had a few of the originals. Commie cleanser was my favorite. Never did figure out what a flippie was.
Thanks for the rush down memory lane.

Matthew and me...sitting on his warm driveway...sunny spring afternoon after school. Looking through our grey metal index card boxes full of Wacky Packs, mouths full of bubble gum. Laughing at them and trying to imagine if they were real things our Moms would serve us or have in the house... Then choosing which of our doubles to clip to our bikes to make them sound like motor cycles...(seems sinful now)
Where is Matthew today? Where is that box of Wacky Packs?
Thanks for a great website.
Most sincerely
Andrea

Wow, what a wonderful website--a few nights ago the thought of a wacky package entered my mind and I truly felt maybe I was just dreaming, that they never really existed at all. I was 9 years old at the time they first came out and I can still clearly remember the fascination I had with them, everything about them was mesmerizing, the art, the joke behind each one and the slightly naughtiness of the humor. Anyway, I am so glad I'm not the only one out there!

Greg -
Thanks for a fantastic site! What great memories! For years I've been trying to remember the name of the funny cards I collected as a kid, and I just happened across a New York Times article yesterday that mentioned "Wacky Packages." I knew that was them and I am in heaven!!! When I was about 7 or so (I'm 38) my dad remodeled our basement. In a recently opened crawl space he showed me these stickers that had been stuck all over the walls and ceiling of the crawl space by the previous owners' sons. It was like a really cool and secret treasure! After that discovery I collected them for a few years, and made albums of them (which have long been lost). To this day I love looking for lost treasures, all because of that crawl space and Wacky Packages! I feel the magical wonder and enchantment of being a little kid again!

What an awesome site! When I saw the images of the mid-70s stickers, I remember that incredible feeling I used to get when seeing a new sticker for the first time. I also fondly remember how my mom would drive me around to various 7-11 stores to help me complete a series. If she were alive today, I'd have her join me in May to look for the new series.

Wacky packages have changed my life. I got the stickers in my divorce, and she got the house. THanks for the great website.
