Until 2002, Shedd's stickers were very hard to come by, there would be maybe one or two coming up on ebay each year, going in the $200 range each. The full list of titles was not even known until 2001 (the last title to be discovered was Botch). Then in late 2002 a dealer showed up with a large quantity. He quickly auctioned five to ten of each title on eBay. This short-term flood of the market drove the price down to about $45 per sticker, and allowed several collectors to complete sets. Previously they had been going over $200, sometimes higher. The dishonest seller told everybody he had "just a few" but has continued to sell one per week, for the last year, and after he drove the price down from flooding the market he started to regularly shill (bids on his own auction with a fake ID) to at least $75 per sticker, when that stopped working he lowered his shilling to $49.99. Now two years later he still regularly lists them.
